She was in camp before coming here. She was in camp for one year.
She is not too worried about being away from home as she knows she needs to study and that these facilities are much better than what she would find back at home.

Age: 16 years old
Mum in camp. Dad died in war due to explosions. Of 5 siblings, 2 have been married off. 1 elder sis with mum in camp. 2 younger brothers are in hostel studying.
Bomb had exploded in their house, she saw her father die immediately as it fell closest to him. It left scares on her left hand.
She was then in camp for two whole years. She was studying but it was really difficult. She was allowed out of camp occasionally but still only after the first year.
She is not worried about being away from parents because she told me she came here to study and that's a blessing to her.
